Virta247 and how we work.
Frequently asked questions
General
We work with organisations of all sizes, from sole traders and small businesses through to larger, more established organisations.
While our experience spans a broad range of sectors and business sizes, the majority of our work is with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) looking to improve efficiency, streamline processes and make better use of their existing technology investment.
Whether you're a growing business seeking to build scalable processes or an established organisation looking to reduce manual administration and improve consistency, our approach is tailored to your specific needs and objectives.
In many cases, no additional software is required, however we may require a generic user account creating within you Microsoft 365 Tenant
If your organisation is already using Microsoft 365 Business, you may already have access to many of the tools needed to improve processes, automate repetitive tasks and increase efficiency.
As part of our review, we'll assess your current Microsoft 365 Business licensing and identify the capabilities already available within your existing subscription. In some situations, a different Microsoft 365 Business licence may be beneficial to support specific requirements, but we'll only recommend changes where there is a clear business need and measurable value.
Our approach is focused on helping organisations get more from their existing Microsoft 365 investment while avoiding unnecessary software costs wherever possible.
No. We are not a Microsoft reseller and we do not receive commission, referral fees or financial incentives from Microsoft for recommending, licensing or selling Microsoft 365 Business subscriptions.
Any Microsoft 365 Business licences or subscriptions remain a direct relationship between your organisation and Microsoft. This ensures our recommendations are based on what is genuinely right for your business rather than what generates revenue for us.
We choose to work primarily with Microsoft 365 Business because it provides a secure, scalable and widely adopted platform that many organisations already own. The ecosystem includes powerful tools for collaboration, process improvement, automation, document management and reporting, often without the need to invest in additional software.
Our focus is on helping organisations get more value from their existing Microsoft 365 Business investment by improving processes, reducing manual effort and implementing practical solutions that support the way they work.
The only time Virta247 benefits financially is when a client chooses to engage us for consultancy, process improvement, automation or implementation services. Our success is built on delivering measurable outcomes for our clients, not on selling software licences.
Absolutely.
In fact, we often find that the greatest opportunities for improvement already exist within the processes organisations use every day.
Rather than recommending new systems from the outset, we begin by understanding how your current processes operate, identifying inefficiencies, bottlenecks and areas where manual effort can be reduced. This allows us to focus on practical improvements that deliver measurable value while minimising disruption to your business.
In many cases, existing processes can be streamlined, automated or enhanced using tools already available within your Microsoft 365 Business environment, helping you achieve better outcomes without the need for significant additional investment.
Our approach is always to understand the process first, then determine the most appropriate solution to support it.
No.
The purpose of automation is not to replace people, but to reduce the time spent on repetitive, manual and administrative tasks that often add little value to the organisation.
By removing unnecessary administration and streamlining routine processes, your team can focus on the work that matters most; supporting customers, solving problems, driving improvements and contributing to the growth of the business.
In many cases, automation helps organisations make better use of the skills, knowledge and experience they already have within their teams. Rather than spending valuable time on repetitive activities, employees are able to focus on higher-value work that has a greater impact on business performance and customer outcomes.
Our goal is to help organisations improve efficiency, consistency and productivity while enabling people to do more of the work that adds genuine value.
Not at all.
Our role is to understand your business processes and objectives, not your technical knowledge.
We explain solutions in plain English and work closely with your team to ensure any changes are practical, easy to understand and straightforward to adopt.
The consultation is an opportunity for us to understand your business, the way you currently work and the challenges you are looking to address.
We'll discuss your existing processes, current ways of working and any areas where you believe inefficiencies, unnecessary administration or operational challenges may exist. We'll also explore your current use of Microsoft 365 Business and discuss how your existing technology investment may be better utilised to support your objectives.
The consultation is designed to be an open and honest conversation about your requirements, goals and potential opportunities for improvement. There is no obligation to proceed, and our focus is on understanding your business rather than selling software or services.
Where appropriate, we'll discuss potential next steps and whether a more detailed Discovery & Assessment would be beneficial. Any formal process reviews, solution design, documentation, recommendations or implementation plans would be agreed separately before any chargeable work begins.
No.
Our initial consultation is provided without obligation and is designed to help us understand your business, current challenges and objectives. It also gives you an opportunity to learn more about Virta247 and determine whether we're the right fit for your organisation.
The consultation does not include detailed process analysis, solution design, documentation or formal recommendations.
If further investigation, process assessment or discovery work is required, this would be discussed and agreed separately before any chargeable work begins.
Our aim is to be transparent from the outset, so you'll always know what is included and whether any costs may apply before making a commitment to proceed.
Every organisation is different, which means the cost of a project will depend on the scope, complexity and objectives of the work involved.
Some clients may be looking to improve a single process, automate a repetitive task or enhance reporting, while others may require a broader review of multiple processes, systems and ways of working. As a result, there is no one-size-fits-all pricing model.
We begin with an initial consultation to understand your requirements, challenges and desired outcomes. Following this, we'll provide a clear proposal outlining the recommended approach, scope of work and associated costs before any work begins.
Our focus is on delivering practical solutions that provide measurable value to your organisation, ensuring any investment is aligned with your business objectives and expected outcomes.
We believe in being transparent about costs and will always discuss pricing openly before you make any commitment to proceed.
Every organisation is different, so project timescales can vary depending on the complexity of the requirements, the processes involved and the desired outcomes.
Some improvements, such as workflow automation, digital forms or reporting enhancements, can often be delivered within a matter of days. More complex initiatives involving multiple processes, integrations or business applications may take several weeks to design, implement and refine.
During our initial consultation, we'll discuss your objectives, assess the scope of the work and provide a realistic timeline based on your specific requirements.
Our focus is on delivering practical solutions efficiently, without compromising quality or creating unnecessary complexity.
In many cases, once a solution has been implemented, there are no ongoing fees payable to Virta247 unless you choose to engage us for further work or support.
You will remain responsible for any ongoing costs associated with your own Microsoft 365 Business subscriptions, third-party systems, premium connectors, licensing changes or other services used within your organisation. Where any additional costs are likely to apply, we will make this clear before implementation wherever possible.
Virta247 also offers optional ongoing support packages for clients who would like continued assistance, system monitoring, minor improvements or access to support after delivery. These arrangements are agreed separately and are subject to scope, availability and terms.
Our aim is to provide practical solutions with clear cost expectations, so you understand both the implementation cost and any potential ongoing commitments before moving forward.
Our goal is to design solutions that are intuitive, practical and easy for your team to adopt as part of their day-to-day work.
Where appropriate, we will provide guidance and supporting documentation to help ensure a smooth transition. However, our focus is on creating solutions that require minimal training rather than introducing unnecessary complexity.
For organisations that require ongoing assistance, enhancements or additional support following implementation, Virta247 offers optional support arrangements that can be tailored to your requirements.
