I created Virta247 to help businesses work smarter, not harder.
By removing repetitive tasks and avoiding unnecessary software, I help organisations unlock efficiency and human potential.
Meet Neil, founder of Virta247
Turning Technology Into Real Business Efficiency,
Without Losing the Human Touch.
I founded Virta247 after seeing how many organisations were struggling to use their time and resources effectively. Most businesses already have the technology but few understand or even know they have it and how to harness it to deliver meaningful outcomes, I wanted to change that.
For years, I explored Microsoft’s Power Platform, dipping in and out of it to solve ad‑hoc processes. Over time, I realised its true potential: not just to simplify tasks, but to transform how businesses operate. Today, I dedicate time each day to refining how these applications can improve efficiency within administrative functions, helping organisations focus on the bigger picture rather than repetitive work.
But I also recognised something equally important: not everything should be automated. Businesses still need to show they care, that they’re listening, and that they value personal connection. Automation should remove friction not replace humanity. That balance is at the heart of Virta247.
My experience spans both the private and public sectors, and I’ve previously owned a business myself. That perspective taught me the financial impact of buying endless software for isolated tasks each with its own support costs and learning curve. When I sought advice, the answers were either “you need more software” or “you’ll need to upgrade your current package.” I knew there had to be a better way.
That’s why I built Virta247 to offer a service that helps organisations get the most out of their people by removing as many repetitive tasks as possible. My goal is to empower staff to contribute to growth, innovation, and strategy, giving them a greater sense of worth and value. For employers, I focus on outcomes, not selling more software or technology.
And just as importantly: if I see a process that can’t be improved through automation, I’ll say it. I won’t lead organisations down an alley just to make a quick buck. I’d rather be honest, build trust, and form strong long‑term relationships so when a business does need something that can genuinely be improved, they come straight to Virta247 to get it done.
Too often, organisations are pushed into expensive software purchases or feel forced to hire additional staff just to keep up with manual processes. But the true cost of a full‑time minimum wage employee goes far beyond salary. Once you factor in employer National Insurance, pension contributions, sick pay, IT hardware, software licences, uniforms, PPE, stationery, training, and general overheads, that single role can easily exceed £35,000 per year. It’s a powerful reminder of how much value can be unlocked through smart, thoughtful automation.
Virta247 exists to show that automation isn’t about replacing people, it’s about freeing them to do their best work, strengthening the human side of the organisation, and delivering real business value.
